Majestic Wolf Lamp, which pays homage to the wolf lamp scene in the movie Step Brothers, is reminiscent of farm stand blackberry jam.Ĭall to Arms reserved a portion of Beautiful Impression and blended it with the house blend of Pediococcus and Brettanomyces, and then let the saison age for seven months. This magenta-hued sour is a jammy blend offering complex notes of boysenberry, blackcurrant, candied cherry and gentle oak that results in a pronounced sour finish with a slight finishing sweetness. The addition of lychee fruit produces an earthy fruity beer that has notes of pear, pineapple, and a dry lychee finish. This exotic beer is soured in Chardonnay barrels with Lactobacillus delbrueckii, Brettanomyces Bruxellensis II and dry hopped with Mosaic. This beer was brewed in collaboration with The Brewtography Project and Hotel Teatro.
Traditionally brewed and oak-fermented, it offers notes of guava, pineapple and orange zest – with a balance of soft vanilla from the barrels. Not only are there many different varietals of wine to provide the base canvas, but there are so many different brewing techniques available.īeautiful Impression is an oak-fermented Brett Farmhouse Ale. Wine barrels offer an endless “painter’s palette” when it comes to producing beers. What: The Catalina Wine Mixer is a celebration of the brewery’s wine barrel-aged beers from the past year. They felt that they needed to create an event to showcase these beers with an exclusive event during the most celebrated beer festival of the year.
